Little Europe's Are Coming To Your Town

First they wanted the Pacific Northwest - now they want to be our neighbors. When hate comes knocking in our communities, we can send them away with a strong message that they aren't welcome there. But, what happens when hate hijacks our neighborhoods and makes itself at home?

White Power symbols may soon adorn the houses in your cozy little corner of the world while tattooed and pierced Skinheads provide you with a little security. Oh! And that Hip-Hop you kids are listening to - it's going to be replaced. The old folks will be doing the polka while the kids bang heads to Hatecore!

The times, they are a changin' - and you aren't going to like it one little bit!

Historically, the idea of Manifest Destiny – that which is meant to be because of the ‘divineness’ of the United States – has been used by politicians and other leaders to justify and promote expansion across the continent thus providing a sense of ‘mission’ to the citizenry (Wikipedia). The idea of America being pre-destined to take that which will further the agenda of those in power seems to still be the order of the day and claiming that the ends justify the means is quite well accepted by the populace. The message of Manifest Destiny hasn’t been lost on the Separatists and racists in the neo-Nazi realm either.

While guys like Kevin Alfred Strom and Erich Gleibe have been trying to affect a transmutation of the racist right into stalwart and upstanding appearances, others have been diligently working behind the scenes to bring their Utopian Society dream to some sort of fruition. Sometime back, Volksfront, the neo-Nazi organization that spawned Kurtis William Monschke, David Nikos Pillatos, Scotty James Butters, and Tristain Lynn Frye who bludgeoned a schizophrenic, homeless man to death in Tacoma, Washington on March 23, 2003, announced their plans to erect what they call a “Folk Homeland” on five acres in Medford, Oregon that was purchased from members of the Aryan Nations.

As the stated purpose or goal of many racist organizations is the separation of the races it is not at all unusual to read or hear their stated views and ardent wishes for a “White Homeland.” It is, however, a little unsettling when you first see the actual attempts at procuring such a homeland reaching even marginal success. Those on the racist right are generally written off as “fringe” elements and viewed as incapable of presenting any real threat to our American way of life. When even a modicum of goal attainment is realized by these “fringe” players it gives us pause and a reminder to engage in a reality check.

The acquiring of five acres of land by one group of racists from another group of the same is certainly nothing to be concerned about. With all of their pie-in-the-sky plans to erect family living space, schools, an “Administrative Center,” a social activities center, and a “A European-American Museum and History Center” might require just a little more than five acres and probably a lot more in the way of financing than the whole collective of Volksfront members will earn in a lifetime. Additionally, schemes for establishing an area strictly for whites have been offered by such notables as David Duke and Harold Covington, among others, in the past with little or no evidence that such a thing would ever get off the ground.

Yet, there are some events shaping up that might warrant closer inspection by us as well as the government. The recent flap that has caused us to take Bill White to task in Virginia over his eviction of minorities from properties that he has acquired has caused us to focus a little more on what is really transpiring in this area. Close examination has yielded a movement that is gaining a little in momentum and one that should give all of us a wake-up call.

H. Michael Barrett is no newcomer to the racist movement. Having served as a body guard to Robert Lloyd of the National Socialist White People’s Party in the late 60’s and as Dr. William Pierce’s first street activist, Barrett knows his way around the often treacherous extremes of the racist right. When Pierce’s secretary, Earl, who the main character in the “Turner Diaries” was named for, decided to open a book store, it was with the help of co-founder Barrett that the mail order business “White Legion Books” was started. In 1972, Barrett became David Duke’s National Organizer. In the 1980’s Barrett started writing articles about his thoughts on building white communities, a scenario that he dubbed “Pioneer Little Europe.” Today, it seems that H. Michael Barrett is promoting his ideas not only in theory, but in actuality. He has defined a “PLE” thusly:

“A PLE is defined as a conscious White community - initially possessing greatly contrasting views among its residents - which comes to dominate a geographical area. It is an entity which our opponents and competitors have made no provision to account for within the "legal process," thus it has even less reality to them than the old White community. As such a PLE is in itself immune from all forms of legal liability, without making a mockery of the law. That is not to declare that a PLE is immune from repression, only that there is nothing in the law to prevent it from coming into being, eventually evolving into higher levels of legal recognition, and striving for the self determination of its residents by any means conscious Whites will support. A Pioneer/Little Europe is a generic term for any local community where Whites live in close proximity to businesses which offer cultural facilities and services, most of whom openly support their political revival. More advanced than the old Little Europes and White communities, Pioneer Little Europes are based on a study of the organizing principles shared among the more modern political communities that continue to dismember Whites geographically, culturally, and politically.”

There is nothing unusual about finding advertisements and postings in cyberspace for “White roommates” or “White families to take up residency,” etc. Generally speaking, you experience a little chagrin and move on. It is, however, disconcerting to say the least to witness the circumvention of all of our housing and discrimination laws and the obvious duping of America that is taking place with alarming regularity. In a country where the violation of civil and human rights has been so carefully monitored lest we experience our historical past coming full circle, in a society where diversity is encouraged and multiculturalism is embraced – the idea of segregated communities is more than reactionary it is philistine.

The prospectus accompanying the idea of “Pioneer Little Europe” is daunting at best. Many of us are apt to say – “So they want their own space separate from the rest of us – so let’s give it to them!” The problem is, however, that according to this plan, the space that they want is often right in the middle of the rest of us. Unlike the plans of old where they wanted the entire Pacific Northwest, now they want areas within our cities. They want to drive out minorities, take over businesses and move their Nazi attitudes next door.

The plan is quite elaborate. But, the plan also requires a working together of individuals of varying persuasions and ideologies – something that certainly has never experienced much success – ask Billy Roper. First, the group must decide on a location that is suitable. If a particular area within a city is chosen then the Nazi’s will scope out the area and begin to procure housing. They do this through purchasing houses or apartment buildings – or through what they term “Renters Blitzkrieg,” which amounts to neighborhood overthrow.

According to their prospectus, this is the same kind of “tactic” that was utilized in the Civil Rights Era that led to the White Flight that so many communities experienced. They believe that through inundating the area with neo-Nazi’s minorities and others not sympathetic to their beliefs will flee leaving more vacancies for other Nazi’s to fill. Additionally, the various shops and small businesses in the area whose owners do not share the Nazi dogma will pull up stakes and cheap-sell their business which the Nazi’s will purchase and run.

A suggestion is made that “Advance Scouts” be sent into neighborhoods to find “cheap clusters” of rentable houses:

“Before giving the signal for your own land rush to begin, however, have advance scouts examine the cheapest clusters of rentable housing in your area, because the first wave of Whites isn't going to be choosey. This is very much like bringing relatives from the old country, so the less expensive it is for everyone the better. If you have middle class qualms about this, and that's understandable, try to get pass it.”

Citing the rapidity with which Haight Ashbury was transformed into a mecca for hippies, Barrett claims that “community building is actually one of the fastest ways for any group of people to experience the exhilaration of seeing some of their values implemented, as each day's victories lift the spirit and accelerate the critical mass of those who long felt as if they were "waiting for Godot."

Barrett also schools would-be community builders in how to answer the questions of those who are hesitant. He tells them to be honest with prospects and tell them that there are no promises or guarantees – even to the point of telling them that unless they are comfortable and believe that the plan makes sense, they shouldn’t come. If asked if this is all part of a secret plot, they should respond in this manner:

“Again be straightforward, telling them that building an open community requires explaining the dynamics publicly. How open each individual will be after they arrive will depend on personal preference, but past examples suggest we'll be closer to each other.”

The prospectus is laid out in rational (well…for them) terms even urging that once a community is established the residents should be patient with the other whites who live nearby and might be critical, claiming that once we see how well their community functions we might be “won over.” The sinister underpinnings are, however, still there.

So, one has to wonder how all of this will play out. Considering that the various factions of the hate groups out there are warring and sometimes tearing each other apart and many individuals are engaged in personal battles it would seem that such a plan would never get off the ground. But, it has made a little headway and that is precisely why we and certain groups from law-enforcement are monitoring the situation. While, we believe that there is very little for any of us to worry about – we are still going to remain vigilant.

It has been rather amusing and, at times, downright funny watching the travails of this group trying to bring their project to fruition. As with the attempts of so many of these people to achieve mainstream status, the building of all white communities has its’ moments of hilarity. Stormfront has dedicated an entire message board to this and just reading some of the posts is enough to put you on the floor.

Late in the year 2002, Todd Findley saw an opportunity to make some money. He entered the Stormfront board and suggested a “Real Estate Investment Club” be formed. There was a little discussion among a couple of members and he appeared to be energized. Using the screen name “Buster1488” he began to post regularly. Eventually, he built a website calling it “European American Heritage Foundation,” and he started advertising urging others to become part of the white communities that he was building. With all of the bluster and flim-flam of a true Florida realtor, Findley began to promote his own version of “Pioneer Little Europe.”

Operating out of Bunnell, Florida, European American Heritage Foundation seems like an above-board operation on the surface. The name of the organization notwithstanding, they claim to offer a whole host of services with the amelioration of the homeless situation as the guiding principle. Findley claims to have achieved non-profit status. And that is where it all starts to break down. Throughout the website of EAHF, no mention is made that their services are for those of European descent only. Yet, when Findley pitches his cash-cow he is quick to note that this is precisely who will benefit. In 2003, Findley made the following statements:

The EAHF will be allowed to take donations that are tax right offs just like the salvation army, this will benefit our community greatly as others can see that the donations are going to people european american decent.

EAHF will help people of European American Decent become home owners, build up businesses, education programs for children and adults, senior resource programs, vet and homeless outreach programs and yes community development programs.

The EAHF will be asking for grants and loans from the us gov and other orgs that give funding to nonprofits such as the EAHF, these funds will go along way in helping people.

In the near future our website will be up and running and one area which you should look into is the sponser a child program, this is where you can send in your childs picture and a breif description of why people should sponser that child. This program will be used to help send your children to private schools, college and or for home schoolers supplies.

The EAHF will be looking for people in every state of america who can become state affiliates so if you are of a kind heart, sound mind and intrested in making a real differance to all european american people than email me through sf.

The EAHF will be reaching out to other ethnic orgs like the polish american club or the italian american club etc etc to form bonds with these groups to hold events, raise funds, and brain storm for the future of european americans everywhere.

[Let me interject that the spelling and punctuation errors were all Findley’s.]

Findley is also quick to state that this is “not a racist organization.” Yet, the tale of the tape says differently. When a news reporter for local TV Channel 9 wanted an interview, Findley was ecstatic. Mass postings to the Stormfront message board appeared letting everyone know the time of the interview. Crowing “WPWW Flashed All Over Orlando TV” Findley was really hyped that they were getting so much publicity. The lead-in headline was:


Local Charity Denies Having Ties To Racist Organization


Of course, the interview didn’t go quite the way Todd Findley had hoped. On June 26, 2004, the news room at WFTV in Orlando, Florida aired the interview asking Findley if the name “Euorpean Americans” means only Caucasians. Findley knew he had to think fast since his organization has non-profit status. His response: “everyone has some European in them, even African Americans. (Are you laughing yet?) The next question that he was hit with dealt with his posting on a notorious racial website. His response:"I don't go to any white power websites. [I] go to websites that talk about every day issues that whites have to live with."

Of course, the news station wasn’t buying this consequently they posed a question about building all white communities and asked if this is what he was attempting to do. Todd must have been very uncomfortable by this time and his response was certainly not what any of his White Nationalist buddies wanted to hear: “No. It doesn't matter what color you are.” A response that he would later be asked to clarify.

The astute reporter for WFTV asked for the names of any minority members of his organization and Findley quickly gave up two names and phone numbers – both bogus. He also invited the WFTV crew to meet him at a construction site in Flagler County where they would witness “his mostly minority clients clearing the land for their dream homes.” When the crew showed up, no one else did. Findley explained that they had all decided to work on another day.

By this point, I couldn’t help but think that Todd Findley was quickly starting to sound like Hardy Lloyd – the Creator who was completely out in left field – but he, at least, is suffering from Asperger’s Syndrome. As far as anyone knows Findley has nothing to blame his actions on. Did he honestly think that the interviewer would believe any of this? Finally, Findley decided to speak the truth when he admitted to using the screen name “Buster1488.” Perhaps he believed that the numbers would not have any significance on the reporter. He should have thought again. What the numbers stood for was quickly related to the viewing audience.

Of course, after the members of Stormfront had seen this debacle, Findley had a lot of “splainin’” to do. Conducting damage control can often be risky business…risky that is to most of us. But, when those you are trying to convince want so much to believe you – as was the case with the WN’s, it’s really a piece of cake. Within a few hours of the interview, Buster found himself having to explain – especially about the statement regarding color and this is how he handled it:

“The whole goal of the org is to allow the unwanteds to be in servitude to us instead of the jews for the next 100 years, one way to do this was to hand out mortgages as if they were candy.

”We want the unwanteds to become home owners because they will owe us millions of dollars in the end that is why I did not lie to the reporter when I said I dont care what color you are I will help you build a house. Because im going to slap a great mortgage on it and im going to hire great men and woman and pay them very high wages to build these homes for you with your sweat.

”The goals here are to put 20-60 folks into business or high paying jobs so they will feel comfortible in giving 10% of there earnings back to our org in the form of donations, all money comes from the unwanteds lol.

”The message that I wanted to put out to the average white folk was look im a business man who is white and im proud or my heritage and im not afraid to admit it and at the same time Im not pushing any nazi stuff in there face because im not a nazi im an avg person like them.

”My phone has been ringing off the hook from people calling with positive things to say.

”Our forty year goal is to buy huge acres of land and build a european style village with farm land to feed people, shops , condos, apartments over looking the court yard where you can watch your children play and go down and eat in the courtyard in a safe enviorment.

“…We found a way to make millions of dollars using the same legal tactics the jews are using and we are doing this with unwanteds own cash.”

“as a nonprofit we are required to help everyone and hell if I can put a jew or black in debt owing me money for the next fifty years thats a big plus too, so why not help...”

This might have gone a long way to appease the majority of the Don Black and David Duke’s emasculated minions, but we can assure you that it didn’t sit very well with the NAACP who has been watching this whole mess very closely. Nor, has it done much to assure Findley that the non-profit status that he was initially so proud of will be in existence this time next year. The other positive that has emerged from this interview is the further validation of the gullibility of the racist right.

[As an interesting aside, Findley changed his screen name the day after the interview from “Buster1488 to Busterrr.”]

It is interesting to note that when one poster questioned Buster on the buying and selling of notes, Findley had this to say:

“Hi sparrow in one of your post you said that we are selling the note to cover our expenses and a little profit, we do not make a profit on these homes at all.

”We basically are selling the notes to buy more building material for more homes, the cost of building material is over 40,000 dollars per house built so thats why we want to sell two notes at a time so we have the funds to be able to build more homes.”

So, which is it? ““…We found a way to make millions of dollars using the same legal tactics the jews are using and we are doing this with unwanteds own cash,” or “…we do not make a profit on these homes at all?” Only the flim-flam man knows.

Findley claims that there are numerous Pioneer Little Europe’s coming together in Florida. And for all of his protestations to the media, Findley is, in fact, trying to build all-white communities. Days after his lies were aired, Todd Findley posted the following messages on the Stormfront website:

“We need WN`s to come and live in the houses as well as invest in the mortgages.”

”This project we can go to a bank or mortgage company to get but thought it would be better to try and keep the money and control in white hands for a change we will see how this works out.

”We are hiring only wn to construct the home so A the loan ends up in white contractors hands, b the family who ends up in the home is a wn family, and the loan orgiantor should be a wn as well and the company making it all possible is a wn owned org eahf.org infact.”

And just prior to the television interview, Todd Findley had been advertising thusly:

You must be able to help clean the home up and help with some repairs, You must also be willing to help in our chairty program we have established to help white men and woman become home owners. If you want the house longer for 3 months then rent will be 400 per month after the first 3 free months. pm me for more details.”

Part of a secret plot? Of course – only the plot is certainly no secret. Attempting to drive people out of their homes and small business owners from their rightful places in order to create their “Utopia” would only be phase one. Circumventing the law comes easy to racists and their groups. It probably would to us as well if we believed that the government should be overthrown. Among the things that provide us solace in all of this is the knowledge that they will never be able to pull this off on any large scale. They simply aren’t cohesive enough to do so.

One such example of their inability to work and play well with others – even when their goal appears attainable – is the story of Mike O’Donovan from Boston. He had heard about this Pioneer Little Europe charade on Stormfront and that there was one developing in Springfield, Missouri. After numerous posts by the odious “Samuel Adams,” who seems to have considerable knowledge about homemade shotgun shells and how to tell if your phone is tapped, inviting people to join him in this endeavor, Mike buys a bus ticket. With promises from Sam to pick him up at the bus station, he arrives and finds no one there. He makes several calls both to the home and business of “Sam” and no one ever answered the phone. Apparently, he hangs around the bus station for awhile then eventually has to get a motel room for the night. Two days later he returns home.

When Mike’s brother posted a warning to others not to go to Missouri, Samuel Adams explained himself saying “i saw the guy at the bus station and it doesnt look as if he could have passed a piss test. we are removing self professed white nationalists from our ple area right now with drug habits. if you are white but are strung out on drugs or high this makes you as bad as the blacks. i could be wrong and he could be a stand up guy but i dont thing that i am wrong even tho you will post that he has never done drugs and is the youth minister for his church or some other excuse.”

As you can well imagine, the battle was on. Through discussion it came to light that a mother and her children had experienced much the same treatment in Missouri. All of this simply exemplifies why we have little to worry about when it comes to our communities being hijacked. The lack of cohesion among these groups and individuals works greatly towards keeping them from being any kind of force to reckon with.

There is one group out there, however, that we would kind of like to see succeed. The Aryan Socialist Empire has a sterling solution to the problems that we currently have with racists in this country. Their stated goal:

“Our solution is to construct an island in international waters outside the jurisdictions of any other nations. This is a non-legal solution in that it is neither legal nor illegal, as the construction site is located outside the jurisdictions of all other nations. Initially, the island will be large enough to accommodate a small population. Later, the island will be expanded as necessary.”

Well…I think I would even contribute to the fund. Imagine all of the racists being placed on an island somewhere in the middle of the ocean! We could all make wagers on things like who would be the recipient of their hate? After all, they will have to find someone or something to focus on. Or, we could place bets on how long it would be before they start killing each other. Given their ingenuity and mental prowess – you know, all that “white superiority stuff” – I wonder how long it would take for this “constructed” island to sink right back into the ocean.

In all seriousness, however, none of us wish to see a heavy concentration of hate coming to our cities and towns. None of us are willing to give up one inch of our communities to those who want to run a racist agenda. Regardless of how small we think the threat is, we have to take a stand. We have to say an emphatic no to those who wish to hijack our neighborhoods. Therefore we, as Citizens Against Hate, must remain vigilant and we must educate others as to the motives of the racist right. We must also vow to report every suspected intrusion upon our towns to the appropriate authorities. And we must resist their message at every turn.

Being under fire from those who know too much is never a comfortable position to be in. Erich Gliebe, Chairman of the National Alliance, has found himself under that kind of fire for some time now. From the one-time Board of Directors to the Membership Coordinator, they have all left and many are speaking out - and it truly isn't pretty.

Until now, the one-time Aryan Barbarian has refused to shake hands and come out fighting. How will it end - we predict a TKO in the 10th Round. Nicole Nichols has Gleibe's response to some of the blows that have already been landed.

Often, the death of a prominent leader in an organization or group results in chaos and confusion among the rank and file members. Generally, however, someone emerges and takes the reins pulling things back together again. This doesn't happen without some fall out but usually the damage is minimal. In the case of the National Alliance, however, the job of the new management after the death of the immortalized Dr. Pierce seems to be more and more difficult with every passing day.

Erich Gliebe, the not so new Chairman of the National Alliance, has been under attack by disgruntled members and the former Board of Directors. These attacks have become quite vicious accusing Gliebe and his side-kick, Shaun Walker, of fraud, misappropriation of funds, fixing an audit, bribery, intimidation, sexual promiscuity, and child molestation. It would appear to the casual observer that Dr. William Pierce and his entourage has been replaced by a group of immoral criminals with nothing else on their minds other than living large and blowing the money that lined the coffers of the one-time premiere hate group.

The recent resignation of David Pringle has resulted in the storm around this leadership gaining new life. Pringle, who had served the group as the National Membership Chairman, since the ousting of Billy Roper, not only left his position but, according to Gliebe and Walker, promised to hurt them and the Alliance. Allegedly, he also threatened them with the FBI. He is carrying out that threat via the message boards on the internet. His reasons for leaving are reported differently by Walker and Pringle with Pringle's being, of course, the more altruistic of the two.

As the storm gained momentum this week, other former members stepped forward to side with Pringle and it became evident that this was not going to peter out any time soon. Much of the dirty laundry that has already been public is being thrown around again as well as some new claims that are hitting their mark in what appears to be an all-out onslaught against the gang on the hill. In an effort to put some of this in perspective, I asked Erich Gliebe about some of these claims. What follows are some of the allegations that have been made and Gliebe's response to each:

CLAIM: Erich Gliebe has been working on some kind of deal with Tom Metzger, Tom Padgett and King Kumba. It is also reported that this is the reason that Gliebe didn't attend the New Orleans Protocol meeting held by David Duke. It was stated that Metzger, who has no use for Duke, told Gliebe if he attended "the deal's off."

QUESTION: 1. Is there any truth to this affiliation? 2) If there is truth to this, how can you justify such an alliance with your membership? 3) If there is truth to this, in hindsight, would it have been better for you to attend the meeting in New Orleans? 4) If there is absolutely no truth in this, where do you think the allegation came from?

GLIEBE'S RESPONSE: Resistance Records has absolutely no record deal with someone named "King Kumba."

CLAIM: Resistance records has been promoting and selling Satanic music and Satanic books. This claim also gave rise to the following questions: "He's said he will "try to build and improve the Alliance so that it will open up a glorious future for our people". Ok how? Strippers on calendars? Satanic music? Disappearing leaving Shaun Walker to cover his tracks? Is he even down in West Virginia? What about the billboard fund? What should we put on the billboards?

QUESTION: In a time when many of you are striving to gain mainstream status and mainstream attention, you cannot blame those for disagreeing with what they consider to be immoral. How do you justify the calendar charges or the Satanic music? There have been dozens of statements made about your lack of initiative and action on numerous promised projects. Is that because of lack of money or an oversight on your part?

GLIEBE'S RESPONSE: Resistance is not interested in carrying any Satanic music, but we do sell a lot of Pagan Metal.

CLAIM: A member, who was having a hard time because of losing his job, fell behind on his dues. Gliebe leaned on the guy pretty heavy and told him that his membership would be pulled if he didn't pay up.

QUESTION: Is this a new policy at headquarters? There have been numerous comparisons between the way Dr. Pierce ran things and the way that you operate. It's always difficult to try and fill the shoes of a predecessor. Is this an unfair burden that you have been saddled with?

GLIEBE'S RESPONSE: As for a member being behind on dues, Dr. Pierce would drop everybody who was six months behind, no exceptions. We currently do not do this And always take into consideration a member's financial situation if we are aware they are having difficulties paying dues.

CLAIM: Shaun Walker cut Erich Gliebe a check in the amount of $10,000 for a new car. Erich, instead of buying a $10,000 car bought a new Jeep V-8 with leather seats, sun roof, the works. This car cost $40,000 which the Alliance is now paying for. The Jeep is reported to already have 81,000 miles on the speedometer. It was also asserted that numerous members in the Cleveland Unit dropped membership because of this.

QUESTION: Apparently, more than a few members consider a $40,000 automobile a little extravagant. It has long been said that the NA was the wealthiest of all. Is it still that way? Is it losing money? Where is the organization, financially, in comparison with where it was at Dr. Pierce's death?

GLIEBE'S RESPONSE: "I bought my Jeep with my own money and a trade-in and took out a loan, on which I am making monthly payments with my money. Prior to the purchase of this vehicle, I drove nothing but beaters for years. In fact, the September '91 issue of GQ poked fun at my old '92 Pontiac Sunbird, which was way too small for my 6'4" frame. The Jeep does NOT have leather seats and 31,000 miles on it.

"Despite becoming Chairman in July 2002, I refused to give myself a pay raise for quite some time, despite the fact I was only earning $27,000 a year, which is not a lot of a CEO of any corporation. I also have to pay my own health insurance out of my salary."

CLAIM: Shaun Walker had been kicked off the speaker's platform at the Duke Conference held in Louisiana. There then was a reported retaliation at the September 4, 2004, National Alliance meeting where, allegedly, neither David Duke nor Don Black attended, but one of their lackeys, Jamie Kelso, showed up. According to the report, "Walker and several other big thugs pounced on Kelso in a secluded room and accused him of being a spy and wearing a "wire" to make tape recordings. Walker took a piece a paper that Kelso surrendered and burnt it. Then the gang bullied and intimidated Kelso until he stripped to prove that he wasn't wearing a wire."

"Even Kelso tried to keep the strip search secret but Duke and Black found out later. Duke told Gliebe to go to hell."

"Walker further retaliated by ordering the NA leaders to not cooperate with EURO."

QUESTION: Are you familiar with this incident? If it, in fact, took place what can you tell us about it? Did David Duke tell you to "go to hell?" Are there any plans for the two groups to work together in the future?

GLIEBE'S RESPONSE: Duke NEVER told me to go to hell and Mr. Kelso was NOT roughed up at the Leadership Conference and, in comparison, I'm treated a lot worse at airports.

CLAIM: Erich Gliebe and Shaun Walker have caused at least 20 key staff people to leave the National Alliance.

QUESTION: In watching the reports of the various people jumping ship since your tenure, I tend to believe this claim. To what do you attribute this exodus?

GLIEBE"S RESPONSE: Membership is not down and I would have to say that the overall quality of our membership is probably at its highest peak ever.

CLAIM: Erich and Shaun are living "comfortable lifestyles" complete with $1200 per month cell phone bills on the part of Gilebe, new cars, unlimited expense accounts, the company of dancers from various nightclubs, but they rip off staffers for their wages.

QUESTION: I have to admit, Erich that it really does appear that you and Shaun are living large and flaunting it. Knowing that membership is down and Resistance Records has taken a helluva hit, I can't help but wonder what you are thinking here.

GLIEBE'S RESPONSE: Shaun Walker and I are in no way living a comfortable lifestyle. Shaun sleeps in his small office most of the time. Also if you take a look at my trim waistline, I think you can see I'm not living "high off the hog."

"As for firing employees for poor performance or bad behavior, some of Dr. Pierce's final words to me were, "Don't be afraid to be ruthless."

CLAIM: Erich's morals have come into question because it is reported that he, at one time, was having an affair with a married woman with children. The woman was said to be an Alliance member.

QUESTION: So is this true? Or is there more to the story? Granted, this is more of a personal attack on you, but let's face it, as leader of the NA being under close scrutiny comes with the territory.

GLIEBE"S RESPONSE: As for women, I'm quite happy with the relationship I am currently in and am interested in settling down and having a family. I have never been married and thus have had to answer to no one, although the same can't be said for some of the hypocrites who attack me.

CLAIM: Erich Gliebe told a unit coordinated to stay away from Dennis Pringle because Pringle is a fed.

QUESTION: Erich, I don't have to tell you that this kind of bullshit rhetoric is getting really old. If someone disagrees, they're a Jew. If someone questions, they're a fed. If you're caught in a lie, you're as bad a black person…etc., etc., As long as Pringle has been with the NA, do you really believe he is a federal informant?

GLIEBE'S RESPONSE: It doesn't matter if Pringle has ever talked to the authorities, because threatening to do so unless I gave him money is just as bad.

CLAIM: It is alleged that when Gliebe and Walker went to visit the Arizona Unit, where trouble had been brewing, Gliebe kept the members waiting two and one half ours while he holed up in his room with his girlfriend getting ready for the meeting. Reportedly, the meeting was a disaster.

QUESTION: Uh…Erich, is this an accurate characterization of what took place?

GLIEBE"S RESPONSE: As for the Arizona meeting, I roomed with Shaun Walker and not a woman.

CLAIM: The following questions were raised by a member on VNN Forums:

"How do you feel about chairman Gliebe going around wrecking homes and screwing other people wives? How do you feel about chairman Gliebe who goes to a sleazy "titty" bar named Lady Godiva's and samples the wares? How do you feel about chairman Gliebe who jeopardized the National Alliance by having about six girlfriends at once. The FBI being able to tell each gal about the others and getting the angry gals to rat everything they knew about Gliebe? How do you feel about chariman Gliebe having one of his "lady" friends being a stripper featured in "girls of Altanta" in Playboy magazine? How do you feel about chairman Gliebe being late for a key meeting of the Phonex NA unit because he was "entertaining" a member's wife in his hotel room?"

QUESTION: How do you feel about all of this dirty linen being aired in public?

GLIEBE'S RESPONSE: I do NOT go to strip clubs. Only a sucker would pay for a "lap dance." I am also one of the few people I know who has NEVER looked at a porn Web site, not even once in my life.

CLAIM: It has been alleged for quite some time now that Erich had been investigated for child molestation. In the recent flap, that charge raised its' ugly head once more wherein it was stated that "Gliebe purposefully manufactures his reputation as a "ladies man" to disguise his true preferences. Everybody's dues money came in quite handy when Gliebe had to hire that lawyer to get him out of the child molestation charges which were about to be filed against him. Good thing for Gliebe the little girl's mother, his ex-girlfriend, decided not to press charges."

QUESTION: The homosexual reference is just more of the same kind of rhetoric I mentioned earlier. This whole child molestation thing, however, is potentially very dangerous for you. Do you have a comment on those charges?

GLIEBE'S RESPONSE: I have NEVER been charged or even questioned about "child molestation,"and have never had to hire an attorney for any such thing. However, I feel that a person falsely accusing someone of such a hideous act should face the same penalties of a person convicted of such a crime.

CLAIM: Pringle claims that Gliebe was seeing six women at the same time and that the FBI questioned all of them and made them aware of each other. Pringle quipped that he had been referring to Erich as "Six-shooter."

QUESTION: Six-Shooter? Erich, I am not interested in your sex life but I am interested in how you can be this promiscuous and yet hope to achieve acceptance among those who are wanting mainstream attention?

GLIEBE"S RESPONSE: As for the term "six-shooter," I think the innovator of that has a Big imagination and little facts. How the hell can one man keep six women happy? I am quite happy with my girlfriend and am not interested in anyone else.

CLAIM: Erich Gliebe has missed every "production deadline" of Resistance Magazine since he took over.

QUESTION: This has long been a bone of contention among the rank and file. Any explanation as to why this has occurred? I'm assuming that it is correct because it is easy enough to verify.

GLIEBE'S RESPONSE: Resistance is not a quarterly magazine; we publish when we can.

As an aside, Erich offered the following comments:

"First of all, since 1990 (when I joined the NA), I averaged spending $100 a week on Alliance activities. All in all, I've easily spent over $100,000 of my own money on NA recruiting and activities over the years. And I have quite a few receipts to back up my claims. Also, in the late '90s, an elderly member of the Cleveland Local Unit told me he was going to leave me his entire estate which was valued at $150,000, but I told him to leave it all to the National Alliance instead, which he did. Now I could have really used that money at the time, but have always thought the Cause to be of much greater importance than myself. I'm probably one of the few people who would put spending money on the Cause before buying food for myself.

By the way, I dumped around $20,000 of my own money into Resistance Records when I first started managing the company and I have all the receipts to prove it. The company was in such bad shape at the time, that the only way to put out the magazine was to give the company a financial boost myself. I even took out a loan to pay for the entire recording costs of the band Wolfheart when they were recording their "Return of the Past" album.

It's actually quite humorous that some of my detractors are chronically unemployed or receive government assistance. All I need ask, when was the last time David Pringle held a job in the real world? How about Will Williams or David Wayne Sims (a.k.a. Jerry Abbott)? It must be nice to have all day to play on the Internet and slander people."

Additionally, in a previous email Erich made the following statements:

"Pringle's allegations are nothing more than a disgruntled former Employee throwing a temper tantrum. Let's just look at his false allegation about a ",200 monthly cell phone bill": Any cell phone company can offer a decent monthly plan of unlimited usage for 0 or less. Enough said.

Oh, and as for my Jeep, it has no leather seats, I make all the payments, and I purchased it with a trade-in."

As this interview was taking place Shaun Walker posted a response to those making all of these accusations. Walker forwarded his post to me. Walker accuses Pringle of harassment and character defamation. He also claims to be in possession of emails sent to him by Pringle threatening harm to the National Alliance unless he is given money. Certainly, if that is true, the Alliance has a good case for extortion against Pringle.

Walker goes on to characterize Pringle as a "fun guy to hang-out with, but has dismal work ethics." Shaun claims that part of the problem had been Pringle's promise to move from Alaska to West Virginia never had materialized. Citing Pringle's inefficiency in work ethic, Walker issues the following statement:

"Mr. Gliebe wasn't pleased with Pringles lackadaisical performance and it appeared that all "Big Dave" liked to do, was drive around from Unit to Unit every few months, shake a few hands and give a dull, pointless speech, which have always consisted of what Mr. Pringle did that week. Instead of working long hours and building up an organization, Mr. Pringle seems to only enjoy the fruit of others' labor. He isn't an effective member, but rather more just hot air."

It is difficult to ascertain just where the truth lies in all of this. While Gliebe and Walker are not among our favorite people Pringle is also sitting right at the top of our bonehead list as well. In a close-up on Pringle that I wrote a couple of years ago, I made the following observations:

Pringle is neither erudite nor prolific. He is more of a rough-hewn, beer-bellied guy with a definite axe to grind. He is quick to take issue with anyone who fails to see or comply with his belief that the white man is being maligned and mistreated. Despite his "Joe Schmo" appearance, Pringle has mastered the new National Alliance rhetoric, however. In a recent interview with Alaska reporter, Amanda Coyne, Pringle reiterated the message that certain neo-Nazi's and white power individuals need not apply to the National Alliance:

"I'd like to get rid of all those swastikas and, like, "White Power, dude!" guys," he said. "Also, those guys who are like, "Oh my god, you're an FBI agent! We know you're wired!"

"The far right is full of freaks and losers."

In spite of his ability to spread the word that the National Alliance no longer desires tattooed and pierced skinheads or swastika-waving Nazi's in their midst, Pringle must be a source of embarrassment for the other leaders who are trying to deceive the white world into believing that they only have the best interest of the white race at heart. Pringle's words on Timothy McVeigh might very well be one source of that embarrassment:

McVeigh "was trying to reach out to us," Pringle said, referring to a message McVeigh left a few weeks before the bombing, at an Arizona phone number used by the National Alliance in Albuquerque. McVeigh's message inadvertently went unanswered, Pringle said.

On June 11, when McVeigh was executed for the bombing that killed 168 people, Pringle posted this message, pulled off an Internet forum by the Southern Poverty Law Center:

"Tim McVeigh was 32, so am I. I was in the US Army Infantry for 4 years, 88 -- 92, so was he. I served in the Middle East, so did he. I read The Turner Diaries, so did he. I used to distribute fliers with the Ft. Mojave, Arizona message number on them, he called it. Tim's middle name was James, my son's first name is James. Will I remember Timothy James McVeigh? As long as I live. Did he do wrong? No."

"OKC death toll 169 and rising,"

Pringle signed off.

Chilling? We think so too. This post followed by his discussion of leaderless resistance lays truth to our claims that the deception being practiced by this group cannot be allowed without the proper exposure. When speaking to members of the movement about leaderless resistance Pringle is careful not to "appear" as if he is condoning violence. But the implicit message is not easily lost on anyone:

I also think leaderless resistance has its time and place. This is not the time. Our movement (collectively) is at the make or break phase. This is the time for every White man to "come out of the closet" so to speak. It is only through our boldness that we can recruit the mass of White men and women we will need to win.

The masses need to feel safe; it is our job to make them feel that way. Sun Tzu says never to draw your forces into a walled city. Neither should we wall ourselves in. Hiding and being afraid of what others think is cowardly and dishonorable. If homosexual trash can come out and say they love unnatural sex why would we be afraid of saying we want a White society? The only reason these homos are in the position of cultural power today is because of sheer persistence. WE also need to be persistent.

The only way we can make Joe and Jill six-pack join our great movement is to make them feel safe. Sheep flock together, right? We need the sheep, the masses, to be a success. We need their dues to fund our movement. We need their warm bodies at our marches. The more of us they see the better.

I implore any white man who is now considering a shooting spree or a bombing, not to do it. There will be a time to attack the enemy with direct action. It may closer than any of us think. But it is not today. Now is the time for recruiting and training. Our children's future depends on it! Our Race depends on it!

" And, Joe and Jill six-pack are, indeed, who David Pringle appeals to. The "sheep" are who will bring the most monetary support to the National Alliance - and that, of course, is what it is really all about. The Alliance has long been the number one money raiser of all of the neo-Nazi groups. Reistance records, alone, allows them to maintain a full staff of people. No wonder they want a sharper image. A more palatable perception of the Nazi's means more membership which equates to more dollars.

In February of 2001, a group of teen-agers went on a rampage in Anchorage where they targeted minorities with a paint-ball attack. Amidst the outrage and the indignant cries of the residents, David Pringle saw this as an opportunity to recruit. This is not unusual for the Alliance and other racist organizations. Times of racial upheaval are generally a green-light for them to move in and try to capitalize upon the chaos. Shortly after the attack, Pringle and his members went to work distributing hate flyers. Much of the community was outraged but Pringle insisted that the literature was for the purpose of recruitment. They quickly moved into Juneau where Pringle commented, "The more diverse an area is, the easier it is to recruit people."

David Pringle is a 34-year-old diesel mechanic. He claims that he left Albuquerque because of the high crime rate. More than likely the real reason was because his wife, who is a nurse, got a job there. Pringle stands about 6'4" and tips the scales somewhere around 230-240. He claims that the objective of a white homeland, which is held by the National Alliance, will take between 40 and 50 years to be realized. He advocates Lone Wolf tactics at the "right time and the right place." And he insinuates that more acts of violence like those of McVeigh's are to come.

While Pringle is one of the lesser creepy-crawlies of the National Alliance, speculation about him becoming the next leader may be way off the mark. The web that Pringle spins is not worthy of too much notice and will likely only capture more of the same ilk. As the National Alliance struggles to rebound from the death of Pierce, and at the same time put on a new face, it is highly unlikely that someone as "Joe Schmo" as Pringle will find favor with the "elitists" of the NA. The trouble is - all they really want is "sheep," and Pringle probably knows sheep better than any of them.

Nothing much has changed since I first wrote about Pringle. He has become no more or less a Schmo. Now that he has hung up his title with the National Alliance, he can be found hanging out with the other misfits and rejects on the VNN forum commiserating about his mistreatment by Gliebe and Walker.

Nothing much has changed with Gliebe either. He still heads-up the National Alliance and he still fits the profile that was written two years ago with one exception - the lauding of his money-making prowess has turned to ridicule and blame.

Gliebe has also been ridiculed severely for his failure to speak out about the many claims being lodged against him. Until this interview, it appeared that Erich lacked either the ability or the will to fight back - hardly the picture one gets when thinking of the "Aryan Barbarian." And, while breaking his silence might be considered monumental by some, questions still remain. Often it is the questions left unanswered that create the most doubt - and there were more questions. For example:

CLAIM: Erich Gliebe and the National Alliance is running another record label other than Resistance. The new label is called "Unholy Records."

QUESTION: This is raising a lot of eyebrows, Erich. Can you tell us what your relationship with Unholy Records is and how that came about?

GLIEBE"S RESPONSE: No Answer.

COMMENT: Unholy Records maintains a P.O. Box in none other than Marlinton, West Virginia. On their website they boast the following:

CLAIM: The National Alliance has a standing rule that all locally produced flyers must meet the standards of the National Alliance before they can be distributed. Yet it is claimed that the pamphlet "What is the National Alliance" which is produced at headquarters is missing an entire paragraph and that Gliebe and Walker know about this but continue to send them out.

QUESTION: This seems to imply that you are ripping off your membership by cutting corners. Any comment?

CLAIM: Walker was there (in New Orleans) but was bumped from the program because so many people think he's a fed. Gliebe was begged by Strom and Dr. Ellis to attend but didn't because he was afraid of losing "the deal." Both Gliebe and Walker talk nonstop shit about David Duke and have recently sent out the order that the NA and EURO will not work together in anyway. Both Walker and Gliebe are intimidated by Duke and are afraid their people will defect.

QUESTION: How much truth in this? 1) Have you heard that these people believe Shaun to be a Fed? 2) Were you urged to attend by KAS and Dr. Ellis? 3) Have you sent out an order stating that you will not work with EURO? 4) Are you afraid of losing membership to Duke?

CLAIM: "Two of Pringle's former Alaska NA Unit members, Dave and Margo, are now working on the hill for the people who are slandering their mentor, but Margo's sister is dating Gliebe's guy Steve who is living in Fred's former house. Where will their alliances fall? And, Marlinton residents report that the remaining staff members are putting in applications for jobs in town, what could this portend????"

QUESTION: So what is the status of Dave and Margo now that Pringle is gone? And, are the staff members looking for work because the Alliance can't pay them, or are they "disgruntled" also?

GLIEBE'S RESPONSE: No Answer.

CLAIM: "We need an independent audit to explain these and several other ridiculous expenditures. Specifically: ,000 on 1,000 MORE Chinese made-swastika soled boots ( We have spent more than 0,000 total on these boots. Most of them now collect dust in the warehouse) ,000 on Nordland CD inventory, most of which doesn't sell. ,000 down payment on 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee, "loaded." ,000 on Demarais lawsuit, and that is just the retainer. ,000 on the girlie calendar (,000 on printing and ,000 on free merchandise for the girls) ,500 on the Navajo blanket flag. ,200 a month on Gliebe's cell phone bill (as most of you know, he doesn't spend this phone time talking about the NA.) 0,000 for construction work on the new building. This is more than ALL the other buildings' cost COMBINED! And this is just for the INTERNAL improvements! This is for a meeting hall that is used twice a year.

And what has all of these expenditures bought the Alliance? Well, here is what it hasn't paid for: -No Dr. Pierce monument. Sure, blame it on the brick company. -No Membership handbook. Gliebe is blaming this on everyone and the kitchen sink. A few weeks ago at an NA meeting Gliebe blamed the Membership Handbook fiasco on Jamie Kelso. Of course he forgot to mention that he hired one of his girlfriends in 2002 to compile the already late Handbook. I went to Jamie Kelso after Gliebe and Walker both refused to hire Elisha Strom. Elisha knows how to layout books and has a good command of the English language. Erich said he didn't want to put "all his eggs in one basket." So I waited and waited and waited some more. Everyday I was answering questions about the lack of a handbook. Every meeting I attended I had to answer the same question. Finally I decided to find someone myself and get the damn thing done. I gave a copy of the handbook text to Jim Reid, Roger Williams and Jamie Kelso. Jamie said he would look at it and see what he could do. Right away Jim and Roger noticed TONS of errors, poor grammar etc. Jim said "we actually paid someone to do this?" Now suddenly Erich is blaming Kelso. I put more ink into this particular section of the post because, in my opinion it typifies Erich Gliebe's lack of leadership. Like the author of "We Get Confessions" so aptly put it. "The Losers Motto: If at first you don't succeed; fix the blame quickly."

-Where is Dr. Pierce's opus, "Who We Are?" Gliebe has taken the "Losers Motto" to heart and fixed the blame for this missing project where is doesn't belong as well."

GLIEBE'S RESPONSE: No Answer. (Shaun Walker DID mention the ,000 on Nordland inventory and claimed that Pringle's figure was way off).

CLAIM: Under Erich Gliebe's "leadership" we haven't achieved a single one of his stated goals for the year. Not one. In fact, we have fewer members, less money and substantially less credibility than we did one year ago."

QUESTION: Is this true or not? I can tell you from my perspective that it appears the lack of credibility is true.

CLAIM:"Shaun, with Erich's approval moved Kevin to performance-based pay."

CLAIM: Recently Shaun docked Kevin ,000 for being "late" with the latest issue of National Vanguard magazine. When Shaun docked Kevin, the magazine was, in fact, at the printer. This is another prefect example of the Gliebe Leadership Principal. Erich has Shaun dock Kevin for being late with a magazine when the Chairman was 8 months late with the latest issue of Resistance Magazine; ask him about it and what will he tell you..."it wasn't my fault."

The spin and damage control started as soon as Gliebe got here. The latest Internet questions and criticisms are all part of a "COINTELPRO" operation, he says. "All lies." Don't believe what you read on the web, the Chairman tells us. Everything is going well. We are bigger than ever, and doing more than ever. Get to specifics and he interrupts you with his "duh...where did you hear that," question.

Gliebe claims Kevin Strom is on his side "100%," and so is Dr. Ellis.

The word is that during the meeting this weekend, the Chairman is going to officially designate us as a unit. He needs a picture of Ryan for the Bulletin and probably has a pocket full of gold rune pins to pass out.

Gliebe has made a few creepy requests already. He demanded a lectern in order to address us huddled masses. We told the idiot that this unit is much more informal and works effectively because we are very cohesive and close. He just needs to stand up among us and speak like a man. We will see.

This is a family-oriented local. Wives and children usually participate. I guess the best we can hope for is that the Chairman can tell us about all of the important projects going on at the National Office and then pass the hat around without talking about anal sex or saying "boob job" in front of the kids."

CLAIM: In addition to the units, leaders, and members that defected in the May '04 Reid debacle, the National Alliance's defections in the last seven days have been amazing. About half of the remaining units have either revolted or are on the verge of revolt. In the still "loyal" units many individual members are revolting or wavering. Walker and Gliebe are on road now trying desperately to hold the "loyal" units in the fold. Some of the new people can be buffaloed, but the old timers have heard too many different lies to justify the same old problems.

Additionally, I requested a comment on the whole Jamie Kelso search - but Shaun did not respond.

There was a lot talk going on about a situation where a young woman named Amanda and her husband were kicked off the National Alliance compound. Amanda was very pregnant and gave birth to a stillborn child immediately after the fracas. Apparently, the young couple had no money and no way to bury the child. When it was requested of Gliebe that they be allowed to bury her in a small plot on National Alliance property, Gliebe allegedly refused. Eventually, according to Billy Roper and others, they were able to inter the child in a small family cemetery in town. Roper claims that he helped dig the grave. Ben Vinyard recounted the story on VNN while making the following characterization of Gliebe:

"Gliebe is a liar. But what else is new? If Gliebe said it was raining it was probably sunshine."

Shortly thereafter, Billy Roper had this to say:

"The moral of the story is that Gliebe is a pettily vindictive, paranoid piece of shit."

Alex Linder took issue with this response from Gliebe by a Seattle member:

As it stands, it appears that a lot of the heavyweights of the racist right are gathering to take aim at the Aryan Barbarian. We can only speculate as to what all of this means and where it will end up. Is the National Alliance going under? One can only hope. But, looking ahead…who will emerge as the victor? Sometimes it is wise to be careful what we ask for.

The operations on the other side of the fence are frequently confusing to those of us sitting in the meadow. Average people do not understand the viciousness with which people embroiled in hate attack one another. Often we watch with absolute amazement at the ferocious nature of their offensive onslaught. In the current assault, however, the stakes are high and the fighting may only become more feral. However it all ends up, we can relax in the knowledge that what was once the premiere hate group has been rendered ineffective, at least for the time being. Sorry for not replying sooner, but I've been on-the-road the past couple of days and haven't had access to a computer.

Dr. Pierce once told me that nobody was to ever be buried on the property, including himself (he was cremated and his ashes scattered on the property). If we allowed our property to be used as a public cemetary, then that would probably open up the door to anyone (including those who hate us) who would want to enter the property at anytime to visit the grave site. I did, however, tell Fred Streed to cut an NA check for ,000 to give to the Hartnell's for the burial of their child in a real cemetary.

Kevin is doing fine and I'm sure he will always be a valuable part of the National Alliance. It's no secret, however, that our enemies will always try their "divide and conquer" routine. They'll try to pit one member of an organization against another, causing dissension from within.

No, Erika will not be taking over Resistance Records. I would, however, prefer to have less involvement with the record company and spend more time building and organizing the Alliance.

Rumors will always be flying around in fringe politics, so I appreciate the fact that you are really interested in getting the story straight rather than relying on rumors. The o­nly question remaining is who is leading who in this morass of insanity, egregious exaggerations, and attempted coups. White has long been the model of pathology but Linder may surpass White's ability to distort and mislead. Combining these two personalities has doubled the fun as we traverse o­n this road to destruction of the racist right, and has provided us with much insight into the twisted minds and dishonorable practices of those who pander hate.



It has been noted, time and again, that the egomaniacal White will stop at nothing to assuage his ego including writing letters to himself and publishing them as "LSN Readers." In a bid to appear important and popular White goes o­n self-promoting binges and loads Overthrow with article after article of diatribe lauding his efforts and singing his praises expecting us to believe that they came from others. As an anarchist, he found the rewards minimal and little acceptance from the intellectuals of that persuasion. As a White Nationalist, he has found his niche. While not fully accepted, White has managed to worm his way into their world and has become a major player. What does that say about the cognitive functioning of White Nationalists?



His latest endeavor has been "Shop White," an ebay type website for "white people." Well?a funny thing happened o­n the way to the forum - Shop White got hacked along with the VNN message boards. The boards went down and a frantic Bill White threw another o­ne back up. Bad move. The "hacker" then posted all of the garnered credit card numbers o­n the board.

Yet, Linder believes that he is exactly what the National Alliance needs. Others claim that there is room for both approaches. And the discussion rages.


After watching and studying the Linder/White alignment, however, o­ne is struck by the likeness of the two. Both appear to be ego freaks. Both seemingly write to and answer themselves frequently. Both will stop at little to be noticed and heard. And both seem to consider themselves to be much more credible and important to the White Movement than they truly are.



As Linder and White busy themselves with fostering the demise of the National Alliance (and it couldn't have happened to a more deserving group), it is utterly incongruous to believe that the adherents to the white power philosophy cannot see that which is so evident to others. This demise has been brilliantly orchestrated by the Linder-White duo. Watching events unfold and seeing the bloody battle get even bloodier is good for an anti-racist. Watching the racist right yahoos being duped and fooled and outed is absolute bliss.


Certainly, there is something defective in those who seek out such groups to join or align themselves with and the Bill White's and Alex Linder's of this movement may very well be the epitome of this defect. But, to assume that "white people" want to read the garbage that poses as journalism o­n the VNN site or o­n Overthrow is to assume that white America has become nothing more than detritus in the whole scheme of things. Linder and White probably don't know that what most "white people" want is for them to quit embarrassing the white race with their ignorance. Birds of a feather often do flock together - and some birds end up being plucked.

Have you ever wondered about those weird little people who parade around looking like wannabe Storm Troopers, waving Nazi flags and wearing swastika armbands? When they give their stiff arm salute, didn't you wonder just who the hell they are honoring? What the hell are they all about? The first time you see them you might make the mistake of thinking they are some sort of WWII reenactment troop. The truth is, they are neo-Nazi kooks who envision a neo-Nazi government.

The National Socialist Movement is not too readily accepted by the "i've got a new image" bunch of racists, but they are active and they are visible. Nicole Nichols gives us a little closer look at these Wannabe Hitlers.

Swastikas and brown shirts generally set off alarms in the minds of the general populace. Haunting reminders of Hitler and World War II Germany are quickly set into play. Sanity mandates that these images would not do well in an arena where the prime objective is to recruit members and solicit sympathy for those purported to be downtrodden or oppressed. Yet, those images are being utilized by a hold-out group in the neo-Nazi Movement. The National Socialist movement led by Jeff Schoep takes to the streets and state capitols in full Nazi regalia striking chords of revulsion and eliciting angry cries from onlookers.

Jeff Schoep is somewhat of an anomaly among the ?new and improved? racist who try to emulate the rational and the sane. In actuality, Schoep and his ?Stormtroopers? have become a complete embarrassment to that faction of the racist right that is striving for acceptance into mainstream America. He finds himself frequently being criticized for ?making White Nationalists look bad? and for perpetuating the stereotypical image that most people have of the White Power movement.

Thirty-year old Schoep, runs the National Socialist Movement out of Litchfield, Minnesota. Like so many other ?leaders? in the Movement, Schoep claims to have started reading materials by and about Hitler at a very young age ? 9 or 10 and that he knew that Hitler?s ideas were ?right.? When he was 19 Schoep joined the National Socialist American Workers Freedom Movement of South St. Paul and quickly rose in the ranks to second in command.

Jeff Schoep let no grass grow under his feet. He became very active within the Movement and made certain that he attended most of the ?premier? events held by all of the racist organizations. He marched and rallied and gave speeches becoming well known to the rank and file as well as its? leaders. In 1998, Allen Vincent turned the reins of the National Socialist American Workers Freedom Movement over to Schoep and according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, declared him ?the future leader of the white race and the man who would finally achieve ?white revolution.?" Shortly thereafter, the name was changed to the National Socialist Movement.

Schoep has worked closely in the recent past with the Klan, members of the now defunct ?World Church of the Creator,? and White Revolution. Attending and sponsoring several rallies and events, Schoep brings his entourage of brown-shirted Aryans to places he feels need racial healing. A couple of years ago, it was Topeka, Kansas that was targeted because of the murders committed by the Carr Brothers. In February of this year, a rally was staged in Raleigh, North Carolina because of racial tensions. As Schoep and his members opted out of another demonstration in Kansas protesting the Brown vs. the Board of Education Anniversary, largely because a dress code was being enforced and their Nazi attire was not welcome, Jeff announced another rally yet to be held on the Capitol steps of Lincoln, Nebraska.

Boasting of over 40 ?units? in the United States, Schoep, surprisingly, attracts more people than most would think to his organization. Generally speaking, those attracted to the regimented groups of the racist right are those who are young, insecure, and looking for someone to lead them. The recent break-up and factionalizing of neo-Nazi organizations has sent quite a few people in the direction of the NSM. It is for this reason that Jeff Schoep is of great concern to us.

The NSM has ?25 Points? by which it publicizes its? demands. Those demands include:

?Only members of the nation may be citizens of the state. Only those of pure White blood, whatever their creed, may be members of the nation. Non-citizens may live in America only as guests and must be subject to laws for aliens. Accordingly, no Jew or homosexual may be a member of the nation.?

?All non-White immigration must be prevented. We demand that all non-Whites currently residing in America be required to leave the nation forthwith and return to their land of origin: peacefully or by force.?

?We demand the ruthless prosecution of those whose activities are injurious to the common interest. Murderers, rapists, pedophiles, drug dealers, usurers, profiteers, race traitors, etc. must be severely punished, whatever their creed or race.? ?The state must ensure that the nation's health standards are raised by protecting mothers, infants, and the unborn:

By prohibiting abortion and euthanasia, except in cases of rape, incest, race-mixing, or mental retardation

By prohibiting child labor and ending the rudiments of child abuse, alcoholism, and drug addiction.

By creating conditions to make possible the reestablishment of the nuclear family in which the father works while the mother stays at home and takes care of the children if they so choose.

?We demand legal warfare on deliberate political mendacity and its dissemination in the press. To facilitate the creation of a national press we demand:

(a) That all editors of and contributors to newspapers appearing in the English language must be members of the nation;

While denouncing child abuse and neglect, the NSM also goes on a tirade about the child protection services removing children from homes stating that ?The laws have to be re-written so that our courts are not wasting their time on cases that over zealous cases workers have brought before the courts in some sick attempt to destroy as many families as they can.?

Along with the separation of races and the preservation of the white race, the NSM denounces homosexuality claiming the following:

?Homosexuality is not a genetic defect. It is a chosen lifestyle and a mental sickness. Homosexuality is a social degeneracy that must be expunged from our society.

?Homosexuals serve no greater purpose other than that of their own selfish greed. They contribute nothing to the further survival of our race. Our children are being inundated with the false ideas that homosexuality is normal and acceptable. They see it out in the public, in their schools, and on the TV programs they watch.

?With homosexuality comes the threat of our children being subjected to the possibility of sexual pedophiles, kidnappings, rapes, and murders. Most crimes involving the kidnapping, violation, and/or murder of children, where acts committed by homosexual prone monsters.

?We can see the evil effects of social liberal acceptance of homosexuality by the increased number of pedophiles, child pornography cases, and kidnapping of children (in which most cases once this perverted animal has had its way with these poor innocent and helpless children, the child is murdered).

?In a National Socialist Society, these individuals would receive an instant death penalty.?

These views give rise to the question, how does anyone living in our society adopt such archaic and uneducated thoughts and misinformation? As we are aware that most bigoted and prejudicial thoughts are born out of ignorance and fear, we cannot help but believe that those adhering to the doctrine of the National Socialist Movement must be very, very afraid.

While the NSM is rife with hatred for blacks and other minorities, they rival other groups with their pernicious anti-Semitism. Immediately after the attacks on our country in 2001, the following message was found on their website:

"the attack today in New York, although tragic, was forth coming. The U.S. has continued to aid Israel in its genocidal war against Palestine and now innocent U.S. citizens have paid, in blood, for their Government's stupidity."

According to the Anti-Defamation League, Subscribers to the National Socialist Movement mailing list stated:

"the jews are our misfortune altho (sic) shocking the events of today should come as no surprise, the eternal disease ridden international jew is the enemy of all the pure races of mankind and freedom loving peoples the world over, we do not want to be apart of some jew -white race traitor lead coffee colored raceless mongrell society."

As the National Socialist Movement has gained membership and support over the last couple of years, they have also garnered much criticism from other rank and file racists. Much of the flack centers around their uniforms, swastikas, and flags. A couple of months ago, when a ?rally? was staged in Topeka to protest the celebration of Brown vs. The Board of Education, NSM members were conspicuously absent. Staged and promoted by the infamous Billy Roper, it was stated by numerous racist activist that they did not wish to appear at the event if uniforms and Nazi insignias were going to be part of this. Now, we realize that not too many of them really object to the Nazi symbolism as many of them have branded themselves with these icons, but they are concerned about the ?image? of the Movement and the way that it is portrayed in the media.

Reportedly, Roper had contacted Schoep with an invitation to the rally and the suggestion that uniforms be worn. On the VNN message board, Roper reported that Schoep and the NSM were in agreement and would attend without the Nazi regalia:

?I just got confirmation from Commander Jeff Schoep, leader of the National Socialist Movement, that if I am going to be the organizer of the event, and I establish a dress code for it, then they will respect my wishes, and he will instruct all of his people who participate not to wear uniforms or use the Swastika banner. In fact, he will instruct them to go in plain-clothes.

?Since the NSM is one of the most famous, or infamous, depending on one's point of view, organizations for using uniforms, Commander Jeff Schoep's agreement to order his people to abide by the "no uniforms" dress code for this event is a major conciliation. He still believes in the utility and benefit of using uniforms, but is willing to set that aside for the sake of this specific event. We all appreciate his expression of tactical flexibility on this issue, and hope that others will do as he suggests, and all face the enemy united.

I suppose, however, that someone should have asked the membership of the NSM. Apparently, Jeff Schoep does not wield as heavy a stick over his troops as did the Fuhrer. One member, in particular, expressed his thoughts on the rally, Roper, and not wearing his coat of arms:

And they did boycott the event! And?Jeff Schoep was no where to be found in this fray. He did, however, announce the rally to be held in Lincoln, Nebraska, shortly after the Topeka rally. With all of the rifts within the Movement, it is not surprising that another should erupt. With the National Alliance and White Revolution striving to clean up the stereotypical image of their organizations and their members, the fallout was bound to happen. The varying groups may be compatible ideologically, but they are miles apart in the area of approach and presentation. Of course, the ?new and improved? racist really doesn?t give the American people very much credit. Thinking that they can cloak their real agenda in three piece suits and dupe the public because they wear a tie, is a gross underestimation of mainstream American society.

The National Socialist Movement claims to advocate family values and the birth of lots of white babies. Additionally, they deplore the current welfare system and claim to have no tolerance for criminal behaviors. However, one White Nationalist recently questioned why anyone would join the NSM. Claiming that Schoep was the father of five or more illegitimate children ? all of who live on welfare, he stated the following:

?Having met NSM leader Jeff Schoep, and knowing that he has 5 (I've heard he's up to 7 now) or more illigitimate kids who are all on welfare. I can't see why anyone would support him. When I met him, he actually joked about his lack of involvement as a parent. Now, there are other reason why this guy could never possibly be the leader of a viable organization or be taken seriously. However, I'll just focus on the welfare issue. Anyone, including whites, who father illigitimate kids that grow up on welfare are deviants. The fact that he has so many makes it even more disgusting. Jeff Schoep is the kind of person that decent white people should be disgusted by.?

Indeed, many people are disgusted by Schoep. But, he wasn?t too concerned about these remarks made publicly about him, because he had an answer:

Jeff Schoep and the National Socialist Movement has, indeed, taken to the streets more frequently than any of the others. It should be noted that Billy Roper?s White Revolution has been quite active and they consider themselves an ?umbrella group? for all factions. Yet, because of Roper?s inability to unify the groups and his recent stand on uniforms and symbols, it appears that White Revolution may not be able to be as unifying and Roper had hoped.

A few months prior to the arrest of Matt Hale, he and a few ?Creators? joined Schoep on the steps of the State Capitol in Topeka, Kansas where hundreds of anti-racists showed up and numerous alternative demonstrations were held. Shortly thereafter, an email interview took place between Schoep and Citizens Against Hate. Some of the comments made by Schoep demonstrate how he views the future of the Movement and how he views the rest of society:

?You mention the unification of Pro-White groups to boost attendence? We do not need more attendence, our show of force in Kansas, in August this year, of NSM supporters numbering in the hundreds should have been proof enough . You communist supporters are on the run now, isn't it obvious enough yet (lol)??

We have the pictures in our gallery, and the reports that were made by the press. The number of supporters was barely fifty as compared to between three and four hundred anti-racists. Above the speeches that were made, the chant of ?Nazi go home? almost negated the message. Note, however, that Schoep has ?pet names? for all of those who do not adhere to his party line. When questioned about the rifts that were developing between the different factions he was undaunted:

?You mention rifts in the White peoples Movement???? Why don't these rifts affect us? All White groups will universally Rally with us, since we are leading the charge! Atheist, Christian, Odinist, alike will fight alongside us, religion is a side issue, we fight for Race!

Rifts lie between men, there are no rifts between Race. You communist/queers are best off retreating for safety. 88! Commander Schoep?

Schoep is not the pseudo-intellectual that characterizes some of the ?leaders? in the movement. He is brash and often crass. His unpolished style and rhetoric, however, doesn?t seem to bother his followers. When we inquired about another upcoming event of his (the rally in Wisconsin) he responded:

?Leftist Agitator, ?NS greetings, as I have said previously the petty infighting and factionilization does not affect us. Loyal White Patriots will work with us, the rest are not our concern. The Kansas Rally was excellent, the NAAcp came out to support the carr Brothers, and the NSM went away Heroes to all White Citizens, even the jewsmedia reported you commies were supporting the murderers over decent Americans. Why is it the ara and naacp were beaten back like they don't even exist? There is no support for your liberal/commie agenda in Kansas, and there is no suport in WI. either! The North/Midwest is off limits for you filthbags! We will meet you on the front!!!

For Schoep, optimism comes easily. While most of those in the ?Movement? bemoan the current state of affairs they also openly agree that they are a long way from their goals. Schoep manages to see the ?Movement? as being productive and gaining ground. His distorted perceptions give rise to some real belly laughs both from our side of the fence as well as his own.

Schoep has had his embarrassing moments of late but, perhaps, the most devasting came when the news was broken that one of his key people was a convicted rapist. Indiana State Leader of the National Socialist Movement, John Snyder was convicted of rape in 1997. Snyder had been a very active member of the NSM and was generally considered an up-and ? comer. John is a very close friend of April Braun Patterson, another valued member of the NSM.

When the news became public knowledge that John Snyder, a convicted rapist, was high within Schoep?s ranks, it was anticipated that he would be castigated and removed. The members, however, attempted to excuse Snyder?s felony claiming that he had been railroaded into the charge. Given their oft stated claim of family values and what appears to be a hard-line stance on criminal behavior, it becomes apparent that lip service in this area is what they are truly all about. It is worthy of note that when such scandals or issues hit, Schoep remains silent. As a matter of fact ? that seems to be a trait endemic to the ?Movement.?

Jeff Schoep is not the ?mover or the shaker? that other leaders have been. Schoep is not the glib orator or the brightest bulb in the house. Yet, Schoep has managed to stay on top in the ?Movement? largely because of his acceptance and recommendations by other ?respected? people within. He has been included in our Top Ten To Monitor list because of recent membership gains and number of NSM Units that are popping up throughout the country and his activity level. Personally, I think of Schoep as a marginal player in the realm of any movement that might take place. The days of the Nazi rhetoric are short-lived and give rise to nothing more than derision from those inside and outside of the racist right. Nazi flags and swastika arm-bands serve as amusement for onlookers and those who might be supporters. The few that are recruited into the National Socialist Movement are generally those who are unaccepted by other organizations. While they are funny to watch and provide us with some colorful comic moments, they are also a pitiful lot. Imagine marching down the street to the Capitol of your hometown, carrying a Nazi flag, dressed in Nazi uniform and hearing the jeers of the crowd. Imagine standing at the podium giving a speech that few can hear over the chants of ?Nazi go home.? Imagine picking up the newspaper and reading with your morning coffee about how you were drowned out and sent a message that you are not wanted in that town ? then boasting about being recognized in the paper. Imagine having to manufacture self-worth and self validation. Imagine having to convince yourself everyday of your life that it?s okay to hate your neighbor and that it?s okay to teach your children your values of hate.
